about the role

  • We are recruiting for an Amenity Technician, to be part of our fast-growing well equipped quad mounted Amenity service.
  • This is a mobile role working away in multiple locations, with a company vehicle provided.
  • The role covers multiple areas including Plymouth, Kent, Southampton and Leeds.
  • This role is seasonal – working March to November, with paid time off from December to February.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working Mon-Fri and Mon-Sat on rotation.
  • This role needs a great deal of focus on the client and working within areas with the general pubic, giving our customers the best solution on all our contracts.
  • You will be provided with a works van and quad, fuel card, a mobile phone and all necessary equipment.
  • IT equipment is supplied to enable you to communicate remotely onsite and record work progress throughout the day.
  • The Amenity team members are expected to achieve daily and weekly herbicide coverage targets.
  • This role is working March to November each year, with paid time off from December to February.

Amenity Team Leader

about the role

  • We are recruiting for a Herbicide Spray Technician, working predominantly in the Greater London area. The role is mobile, provided with a van, IT and equipment to service an existing client base.
  • Working Mon-Fri, this role needs a great deal of focus on the client and the accuracy of the survey and site report to give our customers the best solution.
  • Ideally located Leatherhead, Caterham or Sevenoaks.

What you’ll be doing

The role covering the UK, supervises teams working on an existing and growing client base. Working Mon-Fri and Mon-Sat on rotation. Supervising the Amenity Technicians and co-ordinate the activities of sub-contracts to achieve Amenity Weed Spraying goals. This is a hand-on role applying herbicide from a quad and using a knapsack sprayer to control weeds and unwanted vegetation along highways, roadside verges, roundabouts, pathways, industrial sites, residential street, properties, and some open areas of land. Ensuring the teams following established Standard Operating Procedures and RAMS, complete van and H&S audits, and equipment calibrations.

Projects Works Supervisor

about the role

The Projects Works Supervisor is a field-based role operating throughout the UK. A full time position working Mon-Fri with variable start times depending on each project location. This hands-on role involves carrying out the control and removal of differing forms of invasive weeds and asbestos in soils. Waste management and disposal of wastes either on-site or off-site. Primarily working on commercial land and construction sites overseeing a site team and representing the company brand.

What you’ll be doing

  • Undertaking the removal of knotweed, bamboo, invasive plants and soils via mechanical and manual excavations on either Commercial or Residential sites.
  • Remediation of non-licensable asbestos in soils via mechanical/manual excavations and hand-picking.
  • Contaminated soils management/removal via mechanical excavations.
  • Installing ground separation membranes suitable for containing contaminated ground, and for the purpose of invasive weed retention (such as Japanese knotweed)
  • Others works including target plant herbicide application works and vegetation clearance.
  • Following the scope of works and work programme, Risk Assessments and Method Statements and update processes.
  • Responsible for the H&S of yourself, other employees, and members of the public/customers on the site.
  • Ensure correct use and maintenance of RPE/PPE used by site personnel including Implementing actions to address emergency situations and report to Management.
  • Leading toolbox talks and giving Health & Safety direction to reporting staff.
  • Maintaining accurate site diary records.
  • Responsible for checking the condition and serviceability of hired plant on delivery, prior to use and documenting.
  • Ensuring plant and equipment is maintained, all pre-use checks carried out and stored securely at the completion of each day.
