Bamboo excavation and root barrier

PROJECT EXAMPLE: CAREFULLY CONSIDERED BAMBOO EXCAVATION

A reduced level excavation of Bamboo, Japanese knotweed and some Variegated yellow archangel from a residential property.

On this occasion the invasive Montbretia was requested by our client to be retained.

The excavated soils and materials were relocated to a temporary stockpile, then removed to landfill with a horizontal root barrier installed and returned vertically to the boundary.

It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get the digger onto site! But the result was nice and tidy.

All Bamboo material and contaminated soils were removed. As you can see the finished result was a clean area where the Bamboo was growing but with the plants the client wanted left protected.

If you have a problem with Bamboo on your property ask us for details on how we can get rid of it for you.
