Due to the success of last year’s event, when we launched Environment Controls we returned to CLR at NEC in September. Our team of experts were on the stand to answer questions about Japanese knotweed, Invasive Weed Control, Amenity Weed Management and Contaminated Ground Removal.
Of special interest this year were our beautiful knotweed and bamboo rhizome specimens as well as our ‘Area Technician’ Doris! Visitors to our stand discussed issues with invasive species and asbestos contaminated ground removal, and picked up a bag of useful items including our ID banner pens, a seed stick business card and details of our unique event offer.

Our Specialist Advisory Manager Darren Greatbatch (left) was on tap for all invasive and aquatic weed questions and amenity weed management information.
Our Lead Surveyor John Butcher (right) was available to discuss all things Japanese knotweed (including identification and legal issues), invasive weeds and aquatic weeds control.
A key focus for us this year is Asbestos Ground Contamination Removal. Asbestos in soils causes huge issues for construction and developers, and as such our remediation services have become extremely popular to businesses who we’ve helped get their projects back on track.
It’s always good to meet new and old faces at the show, and in the mean time if you’d like to find out more about Asbestos and Ground Contamination, here’s a few resources, or you can contact us if you need immediate help with a contamination issue.
